Andy tore down an old, rotted picket fence at the side of the house and constructed a new fence.

When Andy went to the lumberyard to pick up the wood, he found cedar on sale. He got me cedar, which is higher quality than originally planned, for approximately the same price. In replacing the old fence, Andy and his assistant had to dig up and move some large, heavy rocks, which slowed the project but was done without hesitation or complaint. Andy was very careful to protect my lilac bushes, which adjoin the fence. The fence posts were set level and grounded in concrete, which is much better than what I originally had. Fence posts were topped with lovely copper finials. Because my house is 100 years old, I wanted to maintain a bit of an antique look, so the original old, metal gate was re-installed. The new fence is a work of art. I am thrilled with it and it makes a great backdrop for my flower garden and nature photography, as well as protecting my property. Cleanup was prompt and thorough. Andy also gave me advice on how to treat cedar.
